Quintela Defends Against Kicillof Allegations

The governor of La Rioja, Ricardo Quintela, stated in radio declarations that it is not true that there are people linked to him collaborating with Axel's campaign. He emphasized that no mayor or minister from Kicillof has helped him collect endorsements for his candidacy, firmly denying these rumors.

Quintela acknowledged that national deputy Victoria Tolosa Paz and some former officials who were in Alberto Fernández's administration support his nomination, but he categorically denied the participation of ministers from Kicillof's cabinet in his campaign. He also rejected rumors involving the mayors of Avellaneda and Berazategui, Jorge Ferraresi and José Mussi respectively, in his nomination.

These statements arose after Máximo Kirchner suggested that close associates of Kicillof had been promoting Quintela's candidacy, who is competing in the PJ primaries against former president Cristina Kirchner. Quintela reiterated that Axel has no connection to his nomination, defending the independence of his electoral campaign.
